Quality Control

Quality control checks are carried out throughout the manufacturing process with components being checked for distortions, cracks and faults in the surface finish.
 
fly press A fly press is used to straighten components which may have become distorted during casting.

visual inspection Components are given a final visual inspection before dispatch.

Surfaces which are not up to standard are marked with a felt tip pen and the casting is then sent back for further finishing.
