Exotic materials such as Nickel Base Alloys and Cobalt grades are selected for their extreme and specific tolerances to various working conditions.

Inconels, Hastelloys, Stellite grades all have very specific properties including their difficulty to machine.

Investment Casting of these grades to near net form allows designers to have the freedom of design, knowing that the process will minimise the extent of expensive machining after casting.
